The Department of Industries, and Government of Bihar has introduced a flagship program, namely the “Mukhyamantri Udyami Yojana” to promote entrepreneurship and self-employment in the state. Among its major constituents is the “Mukhyamantri Yuva Udyami Yojana” which is specifically male-applicant oriented and covers both General and Backward Classes.
The prime objective of this plan is to assist people in establishing their own enterprises and be self-dependent. Under this program, deserving candidates may get a financial aid of up to ₹10,00,000/- to establish and operate their business enterprises. This project will not only facilitate the growth of the economy but will also help in generating more employment in the state of Bihar.
The Benefits of Mukhyamantri Udyami Yojana
- Heavy Financial Assistance: Get up to 10,00,000/- to establish a business (50 percent of the total financial help (up to 5,00,000/-) is given as a non-repayable grant). The remaining 50% (up to 5,00,000/-) is provided as interest free loan (with a symbolic 1 percent interest under certain sub-schemes.)
- Skill Development: Compulsory training programs are conducted to boost entrepreneurial skills.
Eligibility Criteria of Mukhyamantri Udyami Yojana
- The candidate should be a permanent resident of Bihar.
- The candidate must have successfully completed 10+2, Intermediate, ITI, Polytechnic Diploma or equal.
- The candidate should have reached 18 and have not passed 50 years of age.
- The business unit should be either a partnership or proprietorship company.
- The applicants should be general and backward-class males only.
Application and Registration Process Online
Registration Process:
Step 1: Go to the official website and select “Registration/Log in”. Choose Mukhyamantri Udyami Yojana as MMUY.
Step 2: A new page will appear in which you have to enter your Aadhaar number and generate a preferred password.
Step 3: On entering the details, click on the option of Login.
Step 4: A registration form would be displayed. Enter the necessary information attentively.
Step 5: After filling this out, you can click on the button labeled “Submit” to complete your registration.
Application Process:
Step 1: Once registered successfully, you can log in to the portal with your Aadhaar number and password.
Step 2: Your dashboard will become visible with the application form. Complete the form properly and with all the needed information.
Step 3: Attach all the necessary documents as indicated in the instructions.
Step 4: Read the application and make sure that everything is accurate.
Step 5: After filling all the required fields, press the button “Submit” to finish the application procedure.
Step 6: Print the acknowledgment receipt to have a copy of the records. Put it away for future reference.
